Sempervivum 'Cobweb' - Hardy Hen & Chicks
This Hen and Chick looks like spiders have been carefully weaving webs in each rosette. So cool. Evergreen foliage sports baby "chicks" or offshoots that can simply be plucked and replanted or left on the plant. Momma plant eventually blooms and dies but there are plenty babies to take over. Full sun and sharply drained soil that never stays soggy is best. Sempervivum also do wonderfully in shallow containers or in one of our little animal planters short term! Very low watering needs. There are many varieties to choose from so a collection just may be in order. This variety requires especially sharp drainage to overwinter. . Avaialbe NOW in 4.5" pots. We also have unnamed mixed pots -- we can text you photos if requested.
