Maranta - Green Prayer Plant 4 pot
This brightly patterned plant's complete latin name is Maranta leuconeura. Otherwise known as the Prayer Plant. It's minty green leaves are dotted with large patches of dark green that fold upwards at night, which is why it's also known as the Prayer Plant. The plant has a trailing habit, and will eventually cascade/sprawl over the sides of its pot, growing to about 12-18". As it matures, tiny lavender flowers appear on slender flower stalks, typically in summer.
Maranta leuconeura is low maintenance and great for beginners. Place in medium to bright indirect light and water when the top 1-2" of soil feel dry. Mist regularly or keep on tray with pebbles and water because it does require humidity
