This beautiful black gold compost comes to us from the UW Platteville Farm where they operate a dairy farm. This compost is aged, heat treated (to kill weed seeds) sifted and is in the process of application for OMRI (organic) certification. It is wonderful to apply in fall over vegetable gardens, garlic patches or flower beds as a top dressing. Compost is good practice because it feeds the soil, which will in turn feed and sustain good root systems in plants.
A great value at $12 for 35#. They sell compost and that income goes back into education at the UW Farm. Available for immediate pick up with appt.
