This is the shear we use at Murphy's Gardens. High carbon, heat-treated, 2-inch Japanese steel blades provide a clean cut and keep their edge longer. Chrome plating makes them rust, corrosion and sap resistant. Narrow pointed design works well for harvesting, dead-heading, pruning, or making cuttings. Vinyl-covered handles provide a good grip; leather loop holds the handles together when not in use, and acts as an effective lock. We love these pruners! .
