Pepperomia caperata 'Pink Lady' in 4" terra Cotta
The Peperomia caperata is native to Central and South America and this cultivar 'Pink Lady' has heart-shaped, deep rippled/corrugated leaves with splashes of pink, green and white. This plant is compact enough for just about any size growing space. . The flowers are long whitish spikes but the beauty is in the leaves of this plant. The Pink Lady grows well in bright indirect light, best in an east or west facing window. They will even grow under fluorescent lights which also makes them great for offices or apartments too. Insufficient light will cause the growth to slow and direct sunlight will burn the leaves. They don't need a lot of water, allow the top 50% of soil to dry before you water, as they can store water in the thick leaves.
